Come join us for our Elders Village Talk Series at the Alameda Free Library, 1550 Oak Street, Alameda, on Wednesday, October 14th at 1:00 pm. Be Prepared and learn to be resilient in the aftermath of a natural or man-made disaster. The presenter for this talk will be Alameda Fire Department Captain Sharon Oliver.

Do you ever have questions such as: What can you do to help yourself, and your community, become disaster resilient? What does “Disaster Resiliency” mean?  What is the City of Alameda doing to prepare for a disaster?  What partnerships are in place to help the City be resilient and prepared?
