Shogun Cafe at The Lodge

World Tour – East Asia

Each month at The Lodge, we focus on different regions of the world for residents to explore. This includes several fun-filled activities as well as a themed dinner. The world tour dinners are an interesting and delicious way for residents to try different foods from the world tour country we are visiting each month. This month was East Asia! Our Shogun Cafe Dinner brought us to Japan, where we enjoyed a dinner of miso soup, green salad with asian dressing, gyoza, chicken tonkatsu, salmon teriyaki, soba noodles, & ice cream. The residents loved the delicious cuisine from the soup to the dessert, & decorations throughout the dinning room added to the ambiance of the event.

The fun fact sheets on Japan at each of the tables led to some very entertaining conversations.
