Elders Inn’s Inaugural Talent Show!

Two row of musical notes and chords

At Elders Inn, we recently held our very first talent show!  Who knew we had such a talented group of people living and working at Elders Inn?!  We had singers from various communities singing “Moon River,” “Moon Shadow,” “You Belong to Me,” and “New York, New York.”

Our own Receptionist, Sean, played a variety of improvised melodies on piano while one of our residents played Fat Domino’s “Darktown Strutters’ Ball,” on piano as well.  Our Administrator played a Pearl Jam song on guitar, which sounded fantastic!  Even the Physical Therapist signed in ASL, (American Sign Language), to a beautiful song.  The Pearls singing group came by as well to contribute to our talent show singing a wide range of songs stemming from Opera to Pop…how lucky are we?!

Now that we got our feet wet, I hope next year we’ll have more talented residents and staff to make a go at showing Elders Inn their hidden talent!
