Amelia Earhart Elementary carolers at The Lodge

 
The kindergarden students from Amelia Earhart Elementary serenaded the Waters Edge Lodge residents on a recent visit.  The teachers and parents joined with the residents in watching the delightful kindergardeners and joined in some of their special holiday songfest. AEC Living’s Fall Festival 2014

 

Ghosts, witches, and monsters were all invited to join the fun at AEC Living’s Fall Festival held on Saturday, October 18th. Residents, staff and their families decorated pumpkins, played spooky games and enjoyed a lovely afternoon by the lagoon for this Booo-ti-ful Boo Bash!

Learning about The Senior Vote

On Wednesday, September 17th, Lodge residents enjoyed a presentation on the history of senior citizenship which examined the impact of older Americans on the political process of the United States.  Kryspin Turczynski, facilitator of Elders Village sponsored, Successful Aging 

Viva Las Vegas Casino Night at The Lodge

 

Chips flew as Waters Edge Lodge residents and their guests played blackjack, roulette and dice games while a local “Elvis Presley” serenaded at Viva Las Vegas Casino Night on Thursday, August 14th.  The games were all in fun, so everyone had a winning hand at the end of the evening.
 

Tea Parties at Alameda Elder Communities

Residents and their guests celebrated the women in their lives at an afternoon tea party. Waters Edge Lodge held their tea party on Saturday, May 3rd and the Elders Inn tea was Sunday, May 4th.  A delightful selection of pastries, cookies, scones and mini sandwiches were served to complement the tea.  More than sixty
