Elders Inn’s first ever April Follies was an amazing event. Since the weather was perfect for our residents, guests, and our fabulous entertainers we were even able to hold it outside and enjoy the Spring sun! We started our event with a group sing-along of – “Singing in the Rain”, perfect for April. Our ballroom dancers were tantalizing, they practically floated off the patio. The magician, our own Dave, took our breath away with all his tricks , he truly astounded the audience. Miguel, another Elders Inn employee, serenaded us on the guitar. Who knew we had such talented staff? I wish you could have seen the gleam in their eyes! The refreshments were perfect for the social, we had delicious spring floats, everyone enjoyed them. To end our fun-filled afternoon we all had another sing-along, this time our song was, “You Are My Sunshine”! April Follies was a big success! Thanks to all who attended and performed.
