After graduating from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a degree in advertising, Sarah spent the early years of her career working as an account manager. The desire to work more directly with people led her to a 15 year career producing marketing events, private parties, and non-profit functions.
Throughout the years, she was called upon to care for elders in her circle of friends and family. She found her passion. Sarah decided to return to school and received her certification as a nursing assistant, gaining hands on experience in skilled nursing facilities.
In 2016, Sarah joined the team at Waters Edge Lodge as the Concierge, which seemed to be the perfect combination of event planning and caregiving. However she was swiftly promoted to AEC Living’s Associate Administrator Training Program. She completed the Associate Administrator Training Program in 2019, and has moved on to help develop and promote AEC Home Care.
Sarah believes being part of AEC Living allows her to combine her talents, skills, and aspirations. The residents and AEC Living team are what drive her each day to provide the best care possible to the elders in our community. Sarah is a touchstone for residents and staff alike. She provides professionalism and compassion to all.
As a resident of Alameda, she is overjoyed to work in her neighborhood. Sarah enjoys volunteering at her son’s school, walking anywhere and everywhere in Alameda, spending time with her family and working on her home.
