It’s easy to not want to do anything else physical after a workout, but stretching can actually help you feel better quicker and reduce your chances of getting a painful cramp. Stretching helps your muscles relax and improve the circulation of blood flow, which is critical after a workout. It can be something as simple as reaching both arms high above your head or reaching over as if you’re patting yourself on the back. Make sure you stretch for about 5 minutes overall and then you’re done, congrats on a wonderful workout!
