Dehydration Pro Tips

It’s been particularly warm in our lovely city of Alameda lately. That means it’s even more important than usual to stay hydrated, but do you know how to recognize the signs of dehydration? Here are a few top common signs you’re dehydrated:

Increased thirst
Dry mouth and skin
Rapid heartbeat
Dizziness and headaches
Decreased/dark urine

Make it a habit to remind yourself to drink water. You can try linking it to your daily activities, like drinking a glass of water each time you check the clock at work or every time you sneak out your cell phone to check your texts.

P.S. If you think you’re dehydrated or having a medical emergency, please don’t hesitate to seek medical help!
