This last Saturday, October 29th, Waters Edge Lodge played host to Alameda Elder Communities’ first Annual Halloween Carnival! Open to Residents, Families, and Staff of all Alameda Elder Communities member facilities, our first Halloween Carnival was a spook-tacular success! Some highlights are below:

Elders Inn on Webster will be participating in the annual “Halloween on Webster Street” festivities! From noon to 4pm on Monday, October 31, 2011 Pint-sized ghosts, goblins and other assorted small creatures will invade Webster Street
Yesterday the Waters Edge Nursing Home, Waters Edge Lodge, and Elders Inn all participated in the California Great Shake Out, a State-wide disaster drill preparing for a real life earthquake disaster.At each facility residents and staff participated in the mock earthquake program. We are all so proud of Brian Wong, a long time volunteer at the Waters Edge Lodge, and congratulate him on his receipt of the Jefferson Award. Brian is an amazing young man who not only excels in school and tennis but generously and graciously gives his time to play the piano for our residents.
