Jordan Hill-Washington has 15 years of professional experience administering service programs and achieving organizational objectives. Formerly the Business & Community Liaison in the Division of Social Responsibility (SRD) at the Port of Oakland, she developed operating and work flow procedures, coordinated projects and established a successful complaint procedure utilized by the Port Attorney’s Office. She also served the local business community as a change agent.
Jordan managed the Aviation, Maritime and Commercial Real Estate Construction Diversity Programs. Her work included monitoring work for continuous process improvement, devising policy and procedures around division objectives and implementing program procedures while monitoring for compliance in all areas. Under her management, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program reached the highest DBE Utilization in Port history.
Jordan worked in the private sector in various areas including program management, real estate sales and marketing. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and has earned the issuance of a United States Patent. As a Community Living Specialist with AEC Living, Jordan holds her clients in the highest regard and exhibits a passion for contributing to the lives of seniors in a progressive way by providing exemplary service with sincerity and consistency.
